Summer games were carried out quickly 2021 wrapped over the weekend, and while it was always a little disappointing to see this GDQ marathon ended, it gave us all the opportunity to catch up anything we might miss during a live event. With more than 150 Speedruns done during SGDQ 2021, it might be difficult to know where to start, so here I have registered five fantastic Speedrun from SGDQ 2021 which will definitely be entertaining.
For many people, it seems that one of the surprises from SGDQ 2021 is a golf managed by Teddyras with comments from Jeff! In 3D. While the name Gone Golf suggested it was one of the golf golf games available at Steam, it was actually a horror game survive with a creepy antagonist and some scary golf themed puzzles. Teddyra and Jeff play it directly all the time, making it one of the funniest runs of the whole event.
Sometimes, races in games that have been rapid events can be in the form of sloping matters. After all, this is a competition between Speedrunners, so one error often needs to give a runner of excellence for all races. However, it did not happen with a black & white Pokemon competition between Pulseeffect and Swiftalu, because it was a close, competitive show all the time. Before SGDQ 2021 started, I said that this race would be one to set aside time for, and it turned out that predictions were right on money.
There is nothing special about Sonic Adventure 2: Battle Speedrun because we even saw it many times in the past GDQ. However, the special about this one is a runner, dage4, which managed to make almost every time the risk-saving trick in running it looks easy. Even the Dage4 commentator was left astonished by the tricks he left while Speedrun. This is definitely one to watch if you want to be surrounded by technical skills.
Like Sonic Adventure 2: Battle, Halo 2 is Speedrun that we have seen in GDQ many times in the past. Anything that is managed by% filled with interference, especially one called “Arbitrary Ownership Unit,” which allows misty monopoly runners into the body of NPC, enemies and vehicles. This is a really interesting road which is very interesting mostly because of the very good monopoly comment.
Being the last run of the event, the Kingdom of Heart II Final Mix by Ninten will always have a hype level behind it. Even without it, however, it turned out to be a fantastic run full of technical skills and comments from SpikeVegeta and Jhobz – two faces that were very familiar to those who watched the match done quickly – was top notch. The fact that it closes what is mostly a fantastic marathon just icing on the cake.
The five runs listed here are really just the end of the iceberg. GDQ has uploaded every run from SGDQ 2021 to the YouTube channel, so if you have trouble choosing a jump point, start at the beginning and work your way to the end of the marathon from there.
