The Chinese proposal would defeat asteroids using rockets

Although the potential is very low, there is a chance at some point, an asteroid could affect the earth. Although most asteroids are small enough to cause small damage to the ground, the potential of a larger asteroid that can have drastic consequences for life on earth can not be ignored. The massive asteroids touched the land in the distant past, the most famous being responsible for the extinction of the dinosaurs.

Researchers around the world have worked on high asteroid deviation methods if one is still an important threat to land. Recently, Chinese researchers have described a plan where they want to use rockets to deflect massive and potentially fatal asteroids. The researchers want to send 20 of the largest rockets China produces to exercise a sizable asteroid.

China is not alone in the study of how to challenge asteroids using rockets. Between the end of 2021 and the beginning of 2022, a robotic spacecraft will be launched to intercept a pair of asteroids relatively close to the land by the United States. The spaceship will arrive later this year and NASA plans to plant the rocket on the smallest of the two asteroids to see how much its trajectory changes.

Researchers working at the National Center for Chinese Area Sciences have found in simulations that 23 fuses of 5th March 5 striking simultaneously could scroll through a great asteroid of its path a distance of 1.4 times the radius of the earth. The calculations were based on Asteroid Bennu, which is as wide as the Empire State building is great.

Asteroid is in a class of spatial rocks that can cause regional or continental damage if this has affected the land. Any asteroid greater than one kilometer would have global consequences. So far, China has launched six long rockets on March 5, March 5, successfully since 2016. Scientists believe that the modification of the path of an asteroid is a decline in risk rather than trying to hurt the asteroid. Smaller parts using nuclear pieces, which might not change the path of the asteroid.
