How to download E-Aadhaar?

Step 1: Visit the official UIDAI website. You will see an option Download Aadhaar on the left side.

Step 3: Enter the captcha and click on ‘send OTP.’ An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number. Alternately, you can also click on TOTP to authenticate your request.

Step 4: Enter the OTP and complete the survey. Click ‘verify and download’ to get your e-Aadhaar. In case you have downloaded with your VID, you can access it by entering your 8-digit password. The first 4 elements are first four letters of your name in capitals and the next 4 are your date of birth.

From the UMANG application

However, there are other ways to avail e-Aadhar as well using apps like UMANG and m-Aadhaar. You can download your e-Aadhaar via the UMANG app in the following steps –

Step 1: Download the app from Play Store.

Step 2: Find the all services tab and click on ‘Aadhaar card.’

Step 3: Then click on ‘View Aadhaar Card from DigiLocker.’

Step 4: Login with the details of your DigiLocker or Aadhaar number.

Step 5: You will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number.

Step 6: Enter your OTP and click on verify OTP.

Step 7: Now you can click on the download icon to get your e-Aadhaar on the device.
